I voted for Kamala. But her weak spine-ass would've let Israel do the exact same thing to Palestinians. She said she wouldn't be any different from Biden, and we know Biden was a huge Zionist. Of course though, Democrats will clutch their pearls even to this day saying that it was someone else's fault as to why she lost. No it fucking wasn't. Kamala had the MOST support immediately after Biden backed out. She even brought Tim Walz on board who seemed decently progressive at the time. And then Dems started capitulating to the Right. It was sickening to hear at the DNC, "the world's strongest military". And then just yesterday, the DNC votes to block a resolution condemning dark money, including AIPAC, in elections. Establishment Dems are cancer in my eyes. We know Republicans are evil, so Democrats should be the ideological opposite - yet they aren't. They let Republicans get away. We urgently need Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in this country so we can finally break free of these horrendous 2 choices. Or we don't and stochastic terrorism rises because politicians refuse to curtail corporations and people suffer more and more financially.

America makes money when they destabilize sovereign nations and install their puppets to say “yes” whenever American corporations come to extract (read: steal) their resources. America does NOT make money when socialist states like Iran and Cuba nationalize their oil industry such that economic commerce can only happen through the government and its people. This is why America gets involved internationally: it’s to fuel their corporate greed and endlessly subjagate the Global South all for the benefit of the Imperial Core.

Iran democratically elected a socialist leader, Mohammad Mosaddegh, in 1952. The US (and UK) didn’t like that, so they ushered a coup and installed the Shah, a brutal dictator, in 1953. Then in 1979, Iranians had enough of his bullshit and overthrew the government with the Islamic Revolution, voting in Ruhollah Khomeini as the new Ayatollah of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Have we ever once considered that the reason why certain sovereign nations in the world behave the way they do was because sometime in the 20th century, the US interrupted their progress towards socialism. It gives us 6 years to grow the Linux user base so that software devs, game devs, etc. make their products with Linux specifically in mind instead of creating poor ports or excluding the OS entirely. Linux adoption is only going up.

authoritarian— but I know you’re apathetic towards authoritarianism All governments/states are authoritarian. That is their nature. No government is excluded from this. The difference with some governments over others is who wields that authority: the majority of working class people, or the minority of capitalist class people. I’d prefer to live in a state that advocates for my best interests as a working class individual rather than submit to capitalists that want to extract everything that I’m worth for themselves and hoard for no good reason.
