@arrrg@kolektiva.social @jon@social.vivaldi.net Exactly why I use it. I really don't like and prefer to stay away from Chromium browsers as much as possible. But Vivaldi just does so much correctly that my workflow practically depends on it, I cannot function properly using any other browser. Additionally it is very refreshing and warming to see such a passionate development team that genuinely cares about the condition and quality of their browser (And community!) over some nonsense like AI and Crypto.

I do feel bad for those who may not be able to use it but on a optimistic and positive note who's to say that won't someday change? And well in the time being there are a shockingly solid amount of decent or good search engines out there! Honestly one thing that has been refreshing for me this year is discovering just how many good big tech alternatives there are from software to services. I honestly hope to see more as time goes on!

Just as a random curious question what web browser do you use? and why? Any answers welcome! I'll go first. My Favorite Chromium based browser is Vivaldi and my Favorite Gecko/Firefox based browser is Waterfox I appreciate these two particularly due to the extra UI customizations and flexibility they offer as the usual basic browser user interfaces I see in most really bore me and I find myself very not efficient in working with them. Just my personal opinion there though. Additionally I also like how ethical they are it's really refreshing and lovely to see such browsers that are willing to fight for a better web and world! #browser
