@futurebird@sauropods.win I taught high school science in a system with a state-mandated standardized test at the end which determined graduation but did not affect the students' grade in class. With 90-plus students and 70 class days to cover astronomy, geology, meteorogy, and oceanography, it was difficult to give individual feedback unless the student was willing to stay after school - even more difficult in a working-class suburban school where most sudents' only transportation home was the bus.
