@neatnik@social.lol I think that trying to get a community to remember which of 7 different granular hashtags they're supposed to use will become counterproductive super quickly.
One more thought: the Fediverse already has many tools to hide content. If someone is posting AI stuff, labeled or not, and you don't want to see it, you can: not follow them, mute them, or block them. For me, that is enough.
Even though I don't use generative AI and I rarely post anything here that has been edited with AI tools, I probably would not stay on omg.lol if this becomes a mandate as opposed to an encouragement. That's too heavy-handed, too restrictive on personal expression, and not the kind of community I want to be part of.
