I don't understand how else somebody can shot 15-minutes rant about how "project allowing users to disconnect their robots from cloud" is not ideal, and *not to mention once* how any and all vacuum manufacturers completely fuck over their customers with privacy.

Hi @shollyethan@fosstodon.org, How AI label works in the list of apps on selfh.st? I mean do you reach out to devs to confirm, or you put it just according to your own feeling? I'm asking because I'm curious about MediKeep, but it looks a bit sus. (Reminds me booklore somewhat - it also looked sus, even though I couldn't put my finger on why, at the time) So maybe there is something you know, but wasn't ready to share it in newsletter? Oh, and thank you for site and letter! They help with discovery greatly.

I find non-intrusive banners asking for donations more than acceptable. And I agree with Thunbderbird parallel: seeing a reminder once in a full moon doesn't bother me. And if this helps development with funds - it definitely should stay.
