@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social In my experience, it's mostly poor, uneducated white men who vote Republican. People who make six figure salaries tend to be highly educated and tend to vote Democrat. Sure, the billionaires will still vote Republican, but they're a tiny fraction of the people who make $100,000+/year. I'd say this is a classic case of "Be careful what you wish for."

@amydiehl@mstdn.social Also the fact that we need thousands of data centers for a bunch of different AIs that basically all do the same thing, because it's become this obligatory thing where every company has to have their own AI. Hell, even Lowes Hardware has their own AI now. It's insane, and it's completely unsustainable. If anything bursts the AI bubble, it will probably be the energy crisis that results from having way too many data centers that demand more energy than is actually available.
