I'd take raspberries over blackberries. Pomegranate tastes like lollies made with artifical cherry if you turn it into a simple syrup. I find it a bit too overwhelming if not used sparingly. Raspberries as a simple syrup is one of the best things on this planet. Same as ginger syrup. But obviously gingers not a berry. I wish it was though. I wish there was a ginger berry. Sweet and gingery.
