Annoyed:
Shocked at how uneducated so many Americans are, to believe the BS the Right is spewing. But, I grew up in that environment so I can’t be too surprised.
Liberal:
I believe society has a moral responsibility to support ALL of us, regardless of the color of our skin, the language we speak, whether we worship a god or not, who we love and how we identify ourselves. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
Pragmatist:
Forward progress matters most of all. Sometimes it’s slow, sideways or even a step back. The goal is what matters. Perfect is often the enemy of a good start.

I see it on TL thumbnails as well as the zoom. Oddly, I click on the thumbnail and, just before it drills into the toot, the thumbnail flashes in. Same going back, if the zoom hasn’t loaded.
One more anecdote. A few times I’ve seen it, the source was a Pixelfed account. May be coincidence but I saw it enough that it’s worth considering.

@maxleibman I’ve done similar. A colleague and I went to an industry event where we were registered through our company. That event allowed you to day of registration, for a nominal cost.
We left and re-registered under LLCs we each separately had. Much easier to get competitors to talk to us and demo their products. No NDA level info but good to hear how they talk about their products

Had a very Seattle moment today. We’re at the Fauntleroy ferry terminal, in line to take a ferry to Vashon Island. Traffic was lined up along the road, as designed.
A pickup passes us on the left, in the main lane. They get about 4 cars past us and tried to cut in. The dude he tried to cut in front of got out of his truck and was pissed. After going back and forth a bit, the line cutter backups, turns around and peels off. A traffic cop to direct the flow showed up a moment later, so I suspect that finally spooked the guy.
Behind us, the same thing played out again with a dipshit in a Tesla trying to cut in. They too got yelled at by others in line. And the cop was then looking for other line cutters.
Don’t fuck with the ferry traffic line. No one will have sympathy for you.
