It really depends on how much you are using your phone. If I would go back 20 years I would be attached to my desktop pc and my ebook reader pocket pc. ln that case I would not need extra storage for my phone. Tho thinking of it… I had two different external cards for that handheld even back then. :)

I’m a data hog. Storage is cheap and it should be available on my phone also. People always saying physical Media is important, and most of the time they tink of cds and dvds. I use my sd cards for physical Media sorage. I used my camera and accidentally recorded 40 gigs of video. With external card I do not have to worry. Music, books, picture heavy pdfs, movies full tv series sits comfortably in my palm.

I understand sd card is a security risk. But you don’t have to use it. The utility is the key. I’m just 100% against corporations enshittificating their products so you pay hundreds more for a 50$ part.

I don’t really understand why Pixel is that evryone likes/they support. I can’t accept the fact that there is no external sd card support. I believe I am getting old because I am very stuck on this point, even more than the headphone jack.

If you need the paper, then you don’t have a choice. So it makes it never late to start. If you want a CDL there are places that for a contract will train you. There are other places like that in other areas.

Schooling isn’t that important anymore. But you should never stop learning. When you stop you die - or slowly rot away. You do not need fancy schools to learn new things. They only give you some random piece of paper. There are countless ways to learn new things on the internet. Free udemy courses, youtube tutorials or even paid tutoring lessons and apps to learn new languages. You could even buy paid college courses online and fo it at your leisure. Or just visit couple courses for some small $.

You start to develop the ability to not give a fuck.

I have a reusable bag. I repaired the seams at least 6 times. I really love the bag, I got it from CES about 7 years ago. And even it’s an evil entity now, it is hands down the best reusable shopping bag I own.

Looking at other comments I will point out one thing nobody mentioned so far: keeping an old per alive is not always cheap. You have to calculate the cruel numbers against the gain or loss also. Sometimes translation changes the original book to something different. Translating a book is not a manual. Word by word process. You have to take cultural differences in account also. I’m sorry to hear that. Life is a mess qnd we do have a lot of things to worry about. But there are many things that worth it living for. In my mind my line ends with me so I will take mult time so I don’t go to waste. A human cost about a million dollars let’s get our value out of this life ;)

Vote with your wallet, recycle, reuse, no single use plastics etc … It is all a lie also. Footprint is a lie. I do recommend his channel it is very eye opening = depressing.
