So that T-word app is making another horrible change, putting a great service behind a paywall. Man, I just wish any of my friends would try some other platform and actually commit to it.

Really not liking Elon’s Twitter rn. And people are so unwilling to move to another platform, I’m tempted to let friends drop off and make new ones.

Do we even know if the guy used the info on the Twitter account to stalk Elon? Removing the account doesn’t solve the problem. People can just use the tracking site, anyway.

Elon may not necessarily be on the jet, it's public information, and the account wasn't posting the info with the intent to make anyone else harass or anything.

This whole rule change/addition is absolutely absurd and why I'm going to use Mastodon more often now. Bird app don't consider a "name" to be private information... really? It's the first example of private info on a number of sites.
