Our local beavers have made a reappearance after being chased off by an excavator a few years ago. The last pond they dammed 6+ ft high was next to a road. Their newest pond is a drainage pond left over from a Whitehorse copper mine in the 1960s at the bottom of a small valley. I'm hoping they get left alone this time. The difference in the pond water is surprising, the water went from super scummy to relatively clean now that they are living in it. #photography #wildlifewednesday #Nikon
