Bit of a before and after from my haircut today. I hadn’t seen the back of my head for a while, clearly it was time. To be fair, I had just pulled my hair out of a messy ponytail in the first photo.

I’ve spent a lot of this weekend constructing this “Happypotamus”. Pattern from Heidi Bears. Ran into a little problem when I discovered I’d accidentally used a hexagon instead of a pentagon at one point, so had to fudge the last piece. #Crochet

New nails today. We were going to do a butterfly wing over a chrome blue background, but I loved the blue so much, we just stopped there.

@Ghet@mastodon.nz we seem to be fine. I got sent to wfh yesterday morning, and with the Remutaka Hill road closed due to a bridge washout, it looks like I might be working from home for a couple of days. I could take the train in if I’m needed.
It’s very wet here, and we’ve had the emergency alerts come through twice. Our property seems to be coping at the moment, but we’re keeping Misty inside just in case that changes and we need to leave in a hurry.
Heh. I’m struggling to get to sleep so picked up my phone for a spot of doomscrolling (because of course _that’s_ going to help). MistyCat has just jumped up on the bed and headbutted the phone out of my hand twice. Do you think she’s trying to tell me something??
