Deactivated my Facebook & Instagram the other day. Tbh I'm kinda taken back by the speed of deterioration and the orange lad isn't even sworn in yet. I see the trans articles are returning to the Irish broadsheets. Would really like to see this war on trans people bottom out. I'm just permanently exhausted.

It's been a while!

Nail on the head. Social media as millennials and Gen X knew it isn't social anymore, it's actually quite isolating. It atrophied after the Arab Spring & died during covid. Humanity is loosing out. It's like I'm aimlessly walking around ghost towns where villages & communities have been replaced with shopping malls. The internet sucks these days. I feel if I'd have come out as trans now rather than 7-8 years ago I don't know if I'd have found the community I have today.

I did not realise my phone was able to emulate sega Dreamcast games and now I'm reliving my teenage years

Fell off the wagon and started tweeting again somewhat. It's just so frustrating to see all the lies and to have trans voices ignored and sidelined when we're under attack. It's a waste of time but so hard. I face death threats for speaking up while they get appearance fees.
