WTF are you going on about? If you actually read the article it is going up mainly due to the switch to summer gas. This literally happens every year. Or do you want your engine to vapour lock every time you turn it off? And the rest is due to world market trading, so it will be the same all over the world.

U.S. President Donald Trump says the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement on trade is “irrelevant” to him and Americans don’t need Canadian products.
While touring a Ford plant in Michigan, Trump said he wants to see more cars built in the United States and the U.S. doesn’t need vehicles made in Canada or Mexico.
Asked if he will renegotiate CUSMA, which is up for review this year, Trump said “we can have it or not.”

Behold! The Ultimate Recipe!
MEXICAN CORN AND BLACK BEANS
Ingredients ½ cup chopped onion 1½ cups corn cut off cob or frozen 1½ cups black beans low sodium 1½ tsp chili powder 1 tsp cumin ¼ tsp tumeric optional ½ tsp salt kosher or sea salt 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp cilantro chopped ½ cup cotija cheese crumbled 1 lime Instructions melt butter in pan and add chopped onion saute until soft. Around 5 minutes add corn and black beans Stir in chili powder, cumin, tumeric and salt. Cook for 2 minutes Place corn and beans on platter, top with crumbled cotija cheese, chopped cilantro and lime wedges
