@djpeacher@fosstodon.org Or, in other words, I'd be more concerned if this weren't the case. (But yes, separating this into two questions would add a lot of value in that area.)

@djpeacher@fosstodon.org What might be missing here is the actual numbers this represents. 24% of 4600 is more than 100 people more than 24% of 4000. That shows continued growth in the number of people using HTMX. Likewise, I draw a different conclusion regarding the "experience" issue. e.g If you add 100 new developers every year, that same number of people become a smaller percentage of the total. This could be a sign that people aren't _leaving_ Django - but becoming more experienced over time.

@webology@mastodon.social @drewbrew@mastodon.cloud @djangocon@fosstodon.org If it's just _meeting_ people, I'm sure that everyone @djangocon has a Triplett number <= 2, because between Catherine, the organizers, and me, I'd be surprised if there was anyone there one of us didn't meet. But I think the comment was made in the context of _working_ with, and that everyone using Django probably has a Triplett number <= 6. (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erd%C5%91s_number or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_degrees_of_separation)

@drewbrew@mastodon.cloud @wsvincent@fosstodon.org It is not physically possible for *me* to use a web framework older than me.
