@jpm@aus.social well that took forever but I actually managed to get a functioning webpage with the node data, averaged speed and heading over 10min, open street map, and a little lifering icon. I need to test how good the maths is on the calcs and maybe put in some filtering for GPS drift but its a decent start.
vibe coding sucks shit though, you spend at least 75% of your time saying 'no that doesn't work'

@jpm@aus.social ok so those t-beam units have dogshit GPS, as in they just do not work. All the mesh stuff works perfectly. I'm going to get one of my drone GPS units out of storage and try hooking that up to one of them.

cooking lamb shanks and the smell is giving me a prousitan reverie about our old cave rescue course, because we used to stay in shearers quarters at Wee Jasper and the lady who owned the place would make us lamb shanks. I miss doing those courses, such good times.
