I guess tech writers can brush off those old articles and quotes for a new round of "Woe is me, the surprise $$$$ bill for this Location_Name Parent_Name" articles.

@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange @infobeautiful@vis.social what I recall from the news coverage about Samsung was how the tax rate at 50% was higher than my country and the number of available loopholes for the estate were at the same time comparatively lower. Lastly, dramatically less whinging in public press about paying the tax.

@arstechnica Having gotten shingles at 18 and having both Mom and Grandma have nasty bouts with it themselves - get Shingrix! The achy side effects are way better than the weeks and months of shingles pain. Also Grandma got Shingles twice - proving her doctor wrong, that she didn't need Zostavax because she already had had shingles. Grandma is all vaxxed up now. Too late on the dementia front though.
