They’ve distorted the housing market for decades now, slowly tightening the screws and making it increasingly unprofitable will bring balance back to the housing market without shocking the system and causing a crash.

@mayintoronto There's a recurring theme when I share recipes with my francophone friends. Using "courgette" often mixes up zucchini and squash... I find myself specifying the specific type of squash (butternut / acorn / spaghetti / etc.) when it's called for. :)
I also run into the whole french shallots vs. green onions thing regularly -- it's something folks confuse on a regular basis.

@FediPact@cyberpunk.lol I'm not super familiar with the inner workings of Mastodon/Activity Pub -- but does this mean that if I've interacted with any of these instances, that my messages were also scraped, even if I'm on an instance not on that list?
I feel like that could be a really big class-action lawsuit of some of the most tech savvy people on the planet.
