I have to admit that one of the most frustrating parts of Game Development is I often work as a 2-person team and it seems like often either I or the person I work with get completely scrubbed from receiving credit when people talk about the game.

One of the biggest challenges for me as a game developer is that there's so many different things that interest me. Sometimes I want to tell a story, sometimes make a puzzle game, and it's usually not appropriate to put everything in a single game. I also worry that fans of the last game might not like the new one if it's an entirely different genre. Wish it was possible to realize more of the ideas I have.

@mollipen It's a really cool game until one of the last couple of missions which would have taken me 5000 tries without save states. I think it literally might have required luck to win no matter which moves you chose.

@SwiftOnSecurity@infosec.exchange I teach college game art classes and it is true that younger people often need to be taught to use a file system. I also think that the Google map style waypoint systems in modern games make it so that people are getting worse at holding spatial awareness in their heads.
