One of the best movies ever made about making movies.
It’s chaotic, surreal, absurd, very well cast and funny af.

Characters I hated in my childhood that I now sympathize with in my 40s…

One of my weird objectives: walking the diameter of the Moon in a year (while remaining on planet Earth). With 9.52km/day so far in 2026, I’m on pace to meet my target. 🤞

Should be a drinking game: you take a shot for every door you see in The Doors.

I have a day off so (naturally) I’m searching for doors in the 1991 film ‘The Doors’.

I REALLY enjoyed Kane Parsons’ ‘Backrooms’.
Creepy, unsettling, weird, well acted, unique and very Lynchian. Amazing production design and cinematography.
It was better than I anticipated. It left me wanting more. A solid 8.5/10 from me.

Boomers who shop at Costco absolutely NEED to tell you what they get at Costco otherwise brain fluid starts leaking out of their ears.

Uh… just one more thing. I spoke with uh… this giant fellow, in the Black Lodge… strange place by the way… lovely curtains… and uh… he told me that the owls were not what they seemed. Now, my wife, she loves owls. Can’t get enough of them. And uh… what do you suppose that means? Where were you on the night of Laura Palmer’s murder?

Nothing says summer bbq season like:
- burgers
- hot dogs
- beer
- hanging out on the deck with friends
- Gregorian chant music
- dressing up like French mimes
- screaming at the Moon
- filling up the pool with red shoelaces
- chanting to Cthulhu

I know Carney is big on hockey, so my pick is Hayley Wickenheiser (she apparently speaks french).

The apartment scene in ‘Nirvanna the Band The Show The Movie’ is one of the best time travel sequences I’ve seen on film.
They used real footage of themselves in 2008 (+ clever use of visual effects & set design) to make it look like they are interacting with their younger selves.
The movie is really funny too.

To save time & money, the next winter olympics could have only one competition…
All 2900 athletes have to climb down Mont Blanc.
The first person at the bottom to extinguish the flame wins 116 gold medals.
My money is on the bobsleigh teams.
