@jschwa1 instead of USA though , should be at least for part of USA's mentions, "Trump's USA" or "Trump's government" .. i know it sorts of break the joke but I believe one goal of all of this is for the world to despise the USA as if the whole country as always been that way. (Which as been a favorite Russia, et al. , propaganda theme for many years)

@hn50@social.lansky.name while blocking access to toxic platforms make sense, there's a need for literacy and understanding of those technologies and the tactics companies use to nudge behavior and shape beliefs. I'd assume blocking access alone could have a backfire effect, I hope authorities will have a plan to participate in education of the population, because relying on parents alone for that is potentially doomed to fail, parents themselves are not immune to social media (or any media) manipulation tactics

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt russian propaganda agency and their troll farms always try to divide people, so, even though someone can claim to be against injustice could as well be manipulated by bots and trolls. The goal is not just turn people evil, but turn people against each other. That's very important to remember.
