Many lichens are currently buried under snow and ice, but some can still be found on accessible trees.

Occasionally, I have shown reindeer lichens such as the Grey Reindeer lichen (Cladonia rangiferina).
This time, I am showing this lichen in its very rare fertile form with tiny apothecia. Hard to find and there are hardly any photos of this kind on the internet.
