Hey fedi, got a paint question.
I want to paint a styrofoam head and the paint needs to be waterproof (because I'll be putting a wig on it and that will sometimes be wet).
Is acrylic paint followed by a sealant my best option, or is there a paint that's waterproof that doesn't also dissolve the styrofoam?

@hollie@social.coop Sometimes having a diagnosis is a detriment... I went to the ER with abnormal uterus pain once and the doctor dismissed it as bad gas because I have IBS.
I had to DEMAND an ultrasound. Turned out that my IUD had moved. The IUD that was the main reason I went to the ER in the first place because I was worried it had perforated my uterus.
But no no, that's a silly worry to have, must just be bad gas. 🙄

Not a fan of mockumentaries at the best of times, and the format just sucked all the tension out of it.
Yes, horror movies need slow bits to build up the tension and anticipation, but splicing in some middle aged white dude talking about the history of the place just derails it completely.

Anyway, I'm watching Malignant from 2021. People really need to stop naming their horror movie that, there were like ten of them and the recommendation didn't mention a year. 😩
ANYWAY, if you intend to watch it there are many content warnings (apart from the usual horror fare), including pregnancy, miscarriage and domestic abuse. And that's just within the first 15 minutes.
