So I may have accidentally bought some yarn....

I was going to hit up Michael's to get some ergonomic crochet hooks (because the staight metal ones I'm using on the shawl are killing my hands). Then the owner of the LYS posted that she would be open for a few hours (she's usually closed Sundays) so I figured since it's close to Michael's I would see if she had the sizes I need, which she did. And then I looked at her yarns....

@FeartnTired@spinster.xyz @Gelatinousrube@spinster.xyz Counting once is handy, unless you make a mistake (like I did last time) and have to rip back. But generally, yes, I like it better. Apparently there are ways to do both sleeves at once, but I can't quite wrap my head around the logistics of that one.

@Gelatinousrube@spinster.xyz Ys I am. It feels like it's taking longer, but in the end you have the pair finished in one go. You also only have to count rows and measures once so you know they will both be exactly the same.

@Gelatinousrube@spinster.xyz As per usual, I am working on several things. Trying to get my sister's mittens finished (knitted in stranded colourwork, kiilling my hands), knitting my friend some slippers from the leftover yarn from her cardigan, crocheting a shawl that I am definitely playing yarn chicken with, and, as always, I have a pair of socks going.
