Shoutout to Beeper for being the first app to release RCS support on iPhone today! :akko_yay:
Managed to get in after a few months on the waitlist a few weeks ago, and I’m absolutely loving this app. Great alternative to Signal that has SMS support, as well as bridges for a ton of messaging apps (including Signal). Open source and end-to-end encrypted. Doesn’t need a phone number to sign up either. Only downside is you need a PC to set it up atm :(
Nevertheless, super excited for them to open registrations up without a waitlist in the next couple months so more people can try it out.
