Does anyone here have experience eating fruit salad/swiss cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa) fruit?
We have a ripe fruit and the outer scales are falling off. It smells and tastes delicious.
We know not to eat the outer scales re: oxalic acid. We've been eating the inner fruit (kernels?) as is. Some websites online claim that the black flecks should be washed off the kernels while others don't mention it at all.
Does anyone have experience with this fruit and know?
