This two-pack Anker screen protector comes in a box that functions as an applicator, so it goes on very cleanly without any stress or bubbles, for only $12 for the two-pack. Fair warning, the first one lasted about 7 months for me, but I somehow broke the second almost instantly. For this price and ease of application, I'll keep buying them though.

@cdevroe@mastodon.social I've got their Ultimate bluetooth/2.4GHz controller, but it's definitely bigger than I'd prefer to travel with. It does work great for emulation and Switch, if you don't mind the modern form factor. If I can't easily find anything else, I'll probably just get the SN30 Pro because it's actually amazing overall. I also have their older SFC30, which like a 1:1 Super Famicom clone, but doesn't have USB-C or the necessary buttons for PS1/PS2 games. Otherwise I also love it.

Anybody know of a good controller for retro games? I have these requirements:

- Bluetooth
- USB-C charging
- SNES button layout (and preferably similar shape)
- Not utter garbage build quality
- Very important: Can pass the Contra test

Last time I tried one, the 8BitDo SN30 Pro does terribly at the Contra test, but maybe something has changed.

@TheGreenGreek@mastodon.social I won't give anybody a hard time for building something that works for their own use, but I was just thinking about how useless pagination navs are, and wondering why we all keep making them. Why would I ever click on a numbered page, unless I'm 1) blindly trying to find something specific I'm certain is buried or 2) just exploring. It's actually *better* without the ellipsis because that just hides stuff. If that's the use case, there's got to be a better way, right?
