@rodhilton@mastodon.social Proportional is not something every state could realistically do, it would require an amendment and probably some ranked choice elimination rounds to eliminate smaller candidates who would inevitably get some EC votes. I think realistically it would change campaigning so much that older races probably wouldn't be a good model. It has the advantage that it might be easier to get it through the amendment process
