The people of the world should let any country even considering war(s) that they will stop buying from/through them and boycott them in any way possible.
Let's face it, we ought all be doing this already to companies producing/investing weapons of war.
We need to make the names of these readily known plus all their subsidiaries that enable them.

@Niall@mastodon.nz , I think it's a major work out machine and a very dangerous one at that. It's a good brand internal hub - I hope, like early ones, they don't start slipping anymore when getting older.
The hub brake prevents head stands for less sensitive riders, though I'd prefer a three speed Shinano hub with a disc brake (cheaper as well).
If the ~1k price on the web site is USD then it's highly overpriced and I would rather build one myself than ever buying one.

Why we need proper REGULATION

@paulhellyer@mastodon.nz , handles on supermarket trolleys and baskets are major transmission surfaces and until recently at P&S Dunedin they provided a hand sanitizer but not anymore, which is a shame for such a profitable institution.
It just shows that profits trump pretty much all other concerns.
(Have to take my own one in the future).

@KiwiEV@mastodon.nz , unless people will also invest in solar/wind powered independent electricity supply (mostly the better off ones), it'll be a temporary relieve since power prices and RUC will level present advances with what we were used to with petrol guzzlers.
There's some overall benefit for the environment but the main one is industry/capitalism, as always.
