Figuring out which Mastodon server to join is akin to IRL for Black, Indigenous, People of Global Majority (BIPGM) women/femme:
Are they safe for us? Will I need to assimilate? Do I need to code-switch?
Will they care more about the dominant comfort & civility than the truth?

A reminder that "solidarity" of a movement or group that doesn't centre the safety, needs or concerns of the ppl with non-dominant identities, is *not* solidarity, it's upholding the status quo.
