  Its sort of freakish getting better at playing a piano song through practice. Cause its this tacit thing where eventually your fingers just know where to go. The inner monologue guy is like wtf how did you know to do that. Inner monologue guy thought he was in the house alone. But apparently there are other guys learning to play the piano beside him. Who never speak.

  I don’t have a reason to exist rn. Its pretty sad to realize that school was my reason for living for so long. Every now and again my illusions of grandeur reignite and I temporarily don’t feel hopeless. But then I remember who I am and feel hopeless again. I should try more to get a job XD but I find applying for jobs difficult and depressing.   There should be a word for those interactions where you ask “have you heard about… ?“ and then respond to their shock with a giggle and nod and say “I know its so bad!” And giggle again and say “everything is so fucked.” And then you look at the ground and shake your head and wonder what was so funny about the crime you just described.

  Apparently the commentariat’s new word is “heteropessimism.” It’s a pretty cool word. I think I’m going to start saying things like “I’m feeling heteropessimistic about that”, “my heart says yes but my heteropessimism says no”, “well hello Mr. heteropessimist!”, “heteropessimistically speaking…”, etc.

  I can’t decide what I want from life. I assumed I would have “things figured out” by now. But each year lost ends with me just as clueless. Perhaps it’s nothing more than perception, but it feels like a lot of people are without this problem. Maybe they’ve accepted some destination and are living the journey towards it.
