  @Jeremy @paige @evan @cwebber I'm not sure if we are talking about the same bill, but c-22 that designates "electronic service providers"; fediverse admins fall into that, even someone who hosts nextcloud for their family falls into that -- the government can order you to betray your users/family/friends - and legally bar you from talking about it.   @Jeremy As for age verification, I agree with @chris that even if we wanted to do it, we just do not have the resources. If we were ordered to "Do it or shut down" then our only choice would be to shut down, which gives more power to big-tech and enables their abuses even further, with more data on their users! Another bill we should just kill, in my opinion.

  I've been following #garage for a few months, and finally I got around to opening up my own self-hosted garage cluster - for now it just holds my obsidian notes, but I have a ton of ideas for what I want to use this for! I'm super happy with how easy Garage is to set up and use.
