For someone five days out from phase two of FFS (and who REALLY wants to wash her hair), I don&#39;t look too bad. Nor do I look too bad for someone who just turned 60 today. For someone who spent their teen years and 20&#39;s convinced they wouldn&#39;t make it to see their 30&#39;s, this is a little surreal. Two weeks post the second and final phase of my FFS. I look like a lumpy and slightly puffy squirrel from the buccal fat pad removal and SMAS lift. Some seepage on the sutures around my ears and I have a few more weeks of the chin bra. But I’m starting to see faint traces of it meshing together with the earlier bone work. I’m not unhappy

My wife Tabi said something interesting to me this morning. She said that watching me claim my womanhood and absolutely revel in it has given her an appreciation for hers she thinks she would have never had otherwise. As she put it, she grew up with it, has been swimming in it her whole life, and never once questioned who or what she is.
