  When I read the thread below by @pluralistic@mamot.fr (which is worth reading) I find myself thinking of the Sarah Wynn-Williams' book Careless People. It's lauded, but why? She struck me as recklessly naive. Or thoroughly unthorough. Did she really go in there thinking it was a force for good, as she claims?   Tobi Lütke, CEO of Shopify, endorsed banker Eric Thor's suggestion for a "weighted voting proportional to the amount of income tax you pay." He also suggested the poor and pensioners should have their right to vote stripped entirely. It doesn't take half a second to realise a world where only the wealthy get to choose public reps might be compromised and awful. Is there a tech ceo who isn't a terrible person?

  I'm going to visit a concentration camp tomorrow. I've been to one before, not easy, but important. Bringing family this time, as they are old enough. So, I look up directions on Google maps (I prefer HereWeGo for directions and Organic Maps for geography) as it is good for spotting nearby businesses for lunch etc. Then I see Google maps hosts reviews of a concentration camp. This seems sick to me
