i am unbelievably emotional abt this beautiful loving remake of some art that was originally intended to be hateful and judgemental that was instead widely read as innocuous and supportive https://bsky.app/profile/sumiaou.bsky.social/post/3m6g2a5roh22e

i wish there was more that could be done about cpu bottlenecks in games and things. with gpus you can often dial things down to Doom 2 visuals to deal with a lack of vram or whatever but cpu bottlenecks frequently feel like 'time to get rearchitecting bucko' territory

tiny UX/accessibility quirk that actually drives me nuts: if you're building an interface meant to be used with a tablet or in VR, if your tooltips don't activate on hover even with the cursor in motion: your tooltips are broken

Beefy meaty peptide, also known as delicious peptide[1] and abbreviated as BMP,[2] is an 8-amino acid long peptide that has been identified as giving a beefy flavour to foods in which it is present. It was isolated from beef soup by Yamasaki and Maekawa in 1978. i don't think chemistry is real
