i'll be giving away a power mac g5 (dualcore 2.3GHz PCI-E, comes with 16GB RAM but lately i could only get 4 to register - probably some contacts issue that is likely fixable, as it started happening after not booting it for a while - and no HDD) as well as a dual 1.25GHz power mac G4 MDD (should be okay but untested for a while, no HDD, no GPU) and a powerbook G4 15" 2004 (with radeon 9600, one RAM slot dead, and a row of keys on the keyboard does not work presumably due to corrosion...

currently trying to update opencv in chimera to the new 5.x branch and lol so they removed some component from the dnn (neural network shit) module but since some code from that was cross-used in other stuff (some tensorflow/onnx i/o shitfuckery i don't care about) they left in a bunch of code generated by protobuf as a part of the "cleanup" which has resulted in opencv 5 being unbuildable unless you have a particular old version of protobuf the files were generated with, because...
