  What's the best terminal emulator on Debian, and why? I'm struggling to find a really good reason to use anything other than Gnome Terminal. I've been on iTerm2 for the last decade (on MacOS), so I'm looking for something maybe in that realm. The popular Debian alternatives seem cool, but also not really anything that I need.   Over the weekend I started developing "Best", a Bash testing framework with a focus on simplicity. The API and the terminal output are both heavily influenced by Jest and Pest.   TBH, kind of giving the side eye at all my previous colleagues who would joke about how quickly they ran through their monthly LLM token limits in a weekend or whatever.   Apparently the industry is changing and the business is restructuring to keep up with the industry, so after six years at $employer, my role is no longer needed. I guess I'm on the job hunt in July, looking for software engineering work.
