  My work laptop does this fun thing sometimes where it boots up and decides it's just not going to use its fans today. Colleagues have had laptops melt themselves because of this feature. I only caught it today because I went to plug a usb stick in and noticed how warm it was. The solution/superstition I've developed that seems to fix it is boot it with the power supply disconnected, but then plug it in before it gets to the screen complaining it needs a power supply connected.   Figuring out I have an eating disorder has been such a trip. I'm feeling hungry right now, but I've discovered that I don't actually experience hunger (pretty common for ND folk to have terrible interoception). So I'm sat here thinking what is this feeling I'm calling hunger? Generally it's a desire for stimulation, and I've hit a bit of a wall in my favourite dopamine-game, Satisfactory, so that's a probably the real cause. But there's a chunk of my brain...

  Oh god... someone linked a 4k version of Bjork's All Is Full Of Love - one of my favourite music videos which was definitely shot in SD. Comparing it to an SD upload from 18 years ago I can see the 4k version's upscaling AI is trying to make sense of phantom motions caused by the compression artefacts of the previous upload. Ugh!
