  @srtcd424@mas.to There are wireless mesh networks in RU - Meshtastic and Reticulum. It allows for public chat room and it looks promising. I really appreciate germans who build a Freifunk - the largest public mesh wifi network I know. It looks like a ready solution for the problem I try to solve. The problem is - internet fragmentation - Freifunk can be augmented to bridge the gap. Also it enables privacy tools to function, which is also a valuable thing to everyone.

  @omar@mastodon.bsd.cafe mastodon is cool. TCP filtering is not cool. We need to circumvent TCP filtering so more people can achieve mastodon. It is global problem called internet fragmentation. Filtering evolves, and very soon I will be unable to reach outside of my zone, which happens to be RU, and no TCP based proxy will help because there will be no TCP.   Mastodon Aliases and Migration 101. The purpose of the move mechanism is to move followers (not posts) to the new Mastodon server. You are locking up your old account and set a redirection to a new one. It does not solve the concern of a Mastodon node go offline unexpectedly. Your old server must be online to confirm the move.
