@srtcd424@mas.to There are wireless mesh networks in RU - Meshtastic and Reticulum. It allows for public chat room and it looks promising. I really appreciate germans who build a Freifunk - the largest public mesh wifi network I know. It looks like a ready solution for the problem I try to solve. The problem is - internet fragmentation - Freifunk can be augmented to bridge the gap. Also it enables privacy tools to function, which is also a valuable thing to everyone.
