Today books are not burned on city squares, they are deleted by single click, by opaque algorithmic decision. We used to collect books, now we collect subscriptions.

@nikhotmsk@vmst.io At least if the library at Alexandria burned, people would've seen the smoke and rubble and knew the books were gone. Now they can just be silently edited in place.
