Welp, I finally saw the Odyssey tonight. Nolan is a whole thing, isn’t he? Wants audio to be uncomfortable, believes color is offensive except in very small and relatively dark doses. Has never seen a smile before. Is so afraid someone might break the fourth wall that actors are not allowed to ever look at the camera. I have regularly thought of the movies of his I have watched. But I am not sure I have ever *enjoyed* them, or thought them good movies? Memento was probably the one that haunts...

My twins’ doctor’s office just changed software systems, and the changeover managed to merge a bunch of their records. Siblings born on the same day is still too challenging for the modern software industry, in the year of our lord 2026. Yay.

@ripienaar@devco.social I’ve tried that. The plans are fine. It’s the architecture, the interworking that I have not been happy with. I have also struggled with plenty of details around web dev just not producing an app that feels good, but I am not as deep into that so not sure how much that’s my lack of experience vs actual limitations.
