I am starting to be able to use the Doppler radar of American political trauma to identify who, in my own life, is dysregulated to the point that they&#39;re their own form of trouble. Out this afternoon for Market groceries, I ran into someone I haven&#39;t seen in eight (8) years, so we promptly went to grab a coffee and catch up. Sent in, mid-April while the crocuses are just up, my first poetry submission package with an expected 2027 reply date. Thinking oh, snow will be on the ground when this comes back. It&#39;s a little too easy for anything to oversignify these days, but my dentist&#39;s office wanting to take a passport-style photo of me and keep it on file &quot;so we can recognize people and greet them by name&quot;?
