  One of my clients now requires internal registration for all use of non-internal AI, and VP-level approval for Claude, ChatGPT etc. VP-approval is basically a death sentence, the message is "we don't want you to use this". They don't want to be liable for its mistakes that impact real world, heavily regulated business operations. They have no PR cover if the shit fans, the public already mostly hates them, and the govt could score points with the public spanking them around.

  Don't be duped by the blank weather radar #ottawa. The weather pattern today is much like yesterday, the storms have just faded in the relatively cool morning. They just barely vanished at 10am from yesterday. But its unlikely to be a repeat of 110mm, that really needed a precise alignment and timing of repeat popups right over Ottawa.

  My 12 year old dog is struggling. Developed stomach issues from an anti-inflammatory. Stopped that and stomach issues are gone. But now some weeks later, severe thirst and frequent urinating. Blood panel is good. Tested positive for infection in the urine. Tried 1 antibiotic, now onto a stronger course. No improvement in the thirst and peeing. Wondering if he's developed diabetes. More vet consultation tomorrow. Any experience with urinary tract infections #dogsofmastodon ? Otherwise s...
