One of my clients now requires internal registration for all use of non-internal AI, and VP-level approval for Claude, ChatGPT etc. VP-approval is basically a death sentence, the message is "we don't want you to use this". They don't want to be liable for its mistakes that impact real world, heavily regulated business operations. They have no PR cover if the shit fans, the public already mostly hates them, and the govt could score points with the public spanking them around.
