  @Iconfactory I'm having an issue with Tapestry on macOS. I don't know if it started with some update or if it's always been the case, but it's certainly been bothering me for a while. When I have an article opened in Detail View in its own window and I do the two-finger pinch gesture on the trackpad to zoom in while my cursor is over an image, it opens the image in a separate window (which shouldn't happen).   Ahead of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Apple announced accessibility features coming this year. I’ll use the auto-generated system-wide video captions and perhaps improved Accessibility Reader (if it’s good enough). It had issues with displaying complex content (like containing tables or multiple text columns), and it’s supposed to be better at that now.   There’s a common reason why I like Mastodon, blogs or news sites with RSS feeds, and podcasts (which are also RSS). Well, there are many reasons, but a big one of them is having freedom over how I access the content. Instead of being forced to use a proprietary mobile or web interface made for a given social network or publisher, I can use any Mastodon client, RSS reader and podcast player I want. If an app stops serving my needs, I can move elsewhere.

  @mipstian I got an update on some domains seemingly bypassing Filtr and App Privacy Report. Yesterday, I installed Proxyman on Mac to see iPhone’s HTTP traffic in real time. I noticed that Duolingo and Allegro did not make connections to tracking domains I expected when Filtr was on. My new theory is that these apps did DNS lookups (which showed up in my DNS logs), but Filtr was blocking them from actually connecting and sending data. Or maybe I don’t understand Proxyman and did this wrong.

  @neatnik@social.lol Have you considered OIDC login to SourceTube via Neatnik ID? I currently run a Forgejo instance on my own server and I use Pocket ID (a self-hosted OIDC provider), which allows me to sign in with a passkey.

  I published a connector for #TapestryApp for following a channel that you specify, from any @peertube@framapiaf.org instance. I previously only published the source code, so I don't think anyone used it but me. Now I also published the final file with the ".tapestry" extension, which is ready to be added to the app, without requiring their developer tool. Maybe someone will find it useful. I thought "we already have connectors for Mastodon and YouTube, so why not PeerTube too...
