RE: https://mastodon.social/@Mastodon/116374923553276051 The primary cause of problems with mainstream social media is complicated, black-box algorithms keeping a stranglehold on how we communicate and consume media. I like Fedi because it's free of that. A side effect is that it's harder to discover what I like. When I moved to Mastodon, I already knew other people who also moved from Twitter. I don’t know how I'd have started without it. Which is why I'm happy that Mastodon is introducing the Collections feature.
