The Modern Lovers (BMG 964216351, 2026) Couldn’t resist. Found this #RSD release on ebay for what I would’ve paid in the store so I snatched it up. One of my favorite albums of all time (although I consider the 1989 Rhino CD release my definitive track listing). This sounds really good though. Day late but the only time I ever feel like I have an inkling of the Force is after I take a grapefruit out my fridge with my left hand and no-look pass it to my right hand. The way it snaps right into place feels a little magic.

I didn’t watch Leaving Neverland when it was available because, frankly, I didn’t want to know the details. By then I had been convinced the allegations were true and I didn’t think I needed any more proof. But I realize now that choosing to ignore the voices of his victims made it a lot easier for me to “move on” and “get past” that and go back to enjoying the music. And that’s not cool. Glorious Noise started on blogger in 2001, migrated to Movable Type and has used Wordpress since 2011. We have 6,000 posts, most of the pre-2012 ones lack a “featured image,” which the templates use to make the pages look pretty. So I’ve slowly been trying to correct that.
