I didn’t watch Leaving Neverland when it was available because, frankly, I didn’t want to know the details. By then I had been convinced the allegations were true and I didn’t think I needed any more proof. But I realize now that choosing to ignore the voices of his victims made it a lot easier for me to “move on” and “get past” that and go back to enjoying the music. And that’s not cool.
