Glorious Noise started on blogger in 2001, migrated to Movable Type and has used Wordpress since 2011. We have 6,000 posts, most of the pre-2012 ones lack a “featured image,” which the templates use to make the pages look pretty. So I’ve slowly been trying to correct that.

Today I decided to take ~700 posts that are tagged as album reviews and try to write a thing that goes out and finds the album art and uploads it and attaches it to the post. I have it save the images it finds so I can approve them first. It’s running now. On 188/643. Claude and Copilot helped. I had to make about 20 iterations before it got it right. Well…before I properly articulated my requirements, that is. Anyway, kind of cool. I hate a.i. as much as the next guy but it can be useful.
